You want a jet pack, don’t you?

Someday, the world of the Jetsons will be ours.

Forty-two years after being used in the James Bond movie ‘Thunderball’, improved versions of the hydrogen-peroxide propelled rockets are going on sale.

The original power belt could fly only up to the height of 27 ft and had a maximum speed of 10 mph, but their improvised version can take its wearer up to 300ft and has a maximum speed of 60 mph.

Juan Manuel Lozano, the Mexican inventor of the rockets, claims that his invention is “the most spectacular flying machines ever developed,” reports the Mirror.

These flying machines have been priced at a whopping 130,000 pounds each.

I’ll pass..that’s just what the world needs is folks with too much $$ flying around the place, crashing into buildings, rivers, etc. Sort of reminds me of the “urban parachute” some company was developing that would enable one to “fly” out of high rise building in the event of an emergency—crash and ouch!

Wow. You really know how to ruin a fantasy! (I have to say I agree with you, though.)
