The composer of GoldenEye turns 48 today. Lousy film score, but happy birthday anyway.

  1. I actually recon it was a brilliant film score. Very Avant garde

  2. Deborah Lipp Says:

Well, it’s a minority view, but Bond fans are famous for those!

  3. lol yer your right

  4. GoldenEye a bad film score? How about The Spy Who Loved me with the horrible disco inspired score or FYEO with some of the same type of horrible synthesizer music? As for truly horrible theme songs what about Madonna’s Die Another Day and most rencently Chris Cornell’s theme for CR? What is happening to the once great state of James Bond theme songs? Recently it seems EON doesn’t care about once was once one of the highlights of the films.

  5. Deborah Lipp Says:

Scores and theme songs are two different issues. I think I’ll save your comments, Zippertuck, and use my response for a future post.

  6. I completely agree that theme songs and scores are two different issues, but I couldn’t resist the question.
